Licensing Torrefaction and Densification Technologies

As the biomass market continues to grow, so does opportunity. Torrified biomass production is a new market for biomass and a new technology development is helping make it cost effective to produce.
During this presentation you will learn more about biomass torrefaction and densification technology which turns woody biomass and agricultural residue into solid biofuel for use in biomass boilers or as a substitute for coal in coal-fired boilers The technology has two unique features: a vertical mass flow torrefier and a cuber system where the die temperature can be controlled to produce uniform and hard briquettes. This technology was demonstrated in a $3 million demonstration plant.
The presentation will include the process description and the economics based on the 50,000 MT/Yr. plant design.
